After scoring the second slowest 50 ever by an Indian, former Indian captain MS Dhoni raised many questions. One such question was from none other than richest board in the world, the BCCI itself.

As soon as Team India left Antigua for their last match against Caribbeans, the team received a letter with private and confidential written on it. It was for none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It read “Hi Mahi, seeing your recent performance, the board is curious to know if you are looking for a test return. Please revert to it as soon as possible as we are going to select 15 member squads for test matches against Sri Lanka”.

MS Dhoni talked to FN about this and confirmed the news, “Yes I received such offer from BCCI. But as I always believe they should consider a youngster for this role”.

MS Dhoni was bashed by online trolls after watching India lose because of his slow knock.

One twitterati said “MS Dhoni’s batting is inversely proportional to his wicketkeeping skills”.

Another troll said “MS Dhoni is truly an ex government employee, keeps his work till the very last moment and then misses the deadline”.

Former Indian coach Gary Kiersten said “People and BCCI should understand and respect a legend like MS Dhoni. Today they are asking him for a test return coz he scored a slow 50. Next they will ask Ishant Sharma to re join gully cricket because he is bowling bad”?

Though Pakistan’s legend Shahid Afridi said “One should always look for making a comeback time and again. Even I am considering another comeback if board wants me to return”. No matter how funny or fake this news looks to you. One must understand what a player goes through on that 22 yard area and must respect them for that. Let’s give the legend sometime who knows if he has got one more world cup winning knock left in him. Till then keep reading Faking News for your daily dose of laughter.
