Australian team goes into depression after Rahul Gandhi wishes them good luck

25, Mar 2015 By indianpsycho

Sydney. In a major boost to Indian team ahead of their clash with Australia in semi-final, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today wished Australian team.

In a series of tweets to some prominent Australian cricketers, Rahul Gandhi came up with personalized messages to wish them good luck.

Scared that a wish from a person who himself hasn’t won anything could be a below the belt tactic of Indian team, Australian team has complained to ICC and gone into a state of depression.

“Not just the fact that we were wished by a person whose wishes have always resulted in a defeat, we were also bogged down by the depressing nature and content of the tweets,” said Australian Captain, Michael Clarke.

However Congress spokespersons claim that Rahul had long prepared for these tweets and this is what he was doing while being on a break.

“A win for India in world cup semi final would bring huge cheer to Indians. Rahul ji understands the pulse of youth and the nation better than anyone else and he is doing his best to ensure an Indian win,” said Sanjay Jha.

When asked that if that means that Congress party knows Rahul’s wishes could harm Australia’s prospects, Jha became defensive and argues, “No, he believes in equality and is not a divisive and polarizing figure like Modi who only wishes India. Hence he decided to wish Australian team.”

Meanwhile the Australian team is banking on players not cursed wished by Rahul Gandhi to see the team through in semi-finals.

“There are some 6-7 players who were not wished by Mr Gandhi. Hope they are unaffected by all this,” prayed Clarke.

Faking News brings to you the tweets as they were sent from Rahul Gandhi’s handle, who Congress claims joined twitter just for this noble cause.

It is to be seen how these tweets affect tomorrow’s match, but the tweets have confirmed that Rahul’s still somewhere among the civilization and following the news. It has also given hopes to millions of his fans who were missing his statements and actions ever since he went missing.
