Local man wearing more than hundred lucky charms held at Delhi airport

17, Nov 2014 By Anil Sharma

New Delhi. Ramesh Kumar, a 34-year-old man was detained and questioned for the whole day at Indira Gandhi International Airport by the airport authorities just because he was wearing a whole lot of lucky-charms on his various body parts.

Ramesh was travelling to Kathmandu in search of some original miraculous seeds called Rudraksha. But he didn’t reach his destination as he couldn’t manage to get through airport security at the IGIA.

“When we first saw him he looked like a contrabandist to us as he was wearing heavy jewelry all over his body, even more than what Bappi Lahiri or a Rajasthani bahu would wear on a regular day. His behavior was extremely suspicious as he was kissing his jewelry again and again. Not just kissing, he was louder at it more than a newly wedded couple in a night bus,” senior airport security officer Sanjay Singh told Faking News.

He said authorities were satisfied with the interview and released the man about 6 p.m.

“We apprehended the man at 10 in the morning and after hours of questioning we figured out that he was just a superstitious goof. All the jewels he was wearing were his lucky charms which a local godman suggested him to wear all the time,” Sanjay further stated.

“He kept blaming his luck after every question we asked him. Well, it actually is bad luck to be superstitious,” Sanjay concluded.

On the other hand, Ramesh couldn’t believe whatever happened to him at the airport as according to his horoscope it was supposed to be the best day of his life.

“WTF man? It was the best day of my life and I had to spend it in a room with  scary looking guys who would spank you any moment without even warning you about it. The immigration officer was infuriating enough to ruin the day. I should’ve listened to the godman who lives down the street, he told me to wear a ring to get through security easily at airports but I ran out of  fingers. I think I need to implant more fingers on my hand to wear more lucky charms,” furious Ramesh told Faking News.

“I kept telling them that I ain’t a smuggler but they wouldn’t listen,” Ramesh said.

“We don’t check the tickets or the keys or wallet or anything like that before traveling instead we check what date it is or what day it is and other shit like that. I planned my travel perfectly according to my zodiac sign. I even left the house at a really shubh muhurta, don’t know what the hell went wrong today,” Ramesh added.

When asked why you believe in godmen, horoscopes and luck, Ramesh said, “We all must believe in luck. For how else can we explain the success of those we don’t like?”

“Although it’s not the only incident. Just another day I was driving and a black cat crossed my path, I tried to apply the brakes and a truck smashed my car from behind. See, how unlucky it all becomes when a cat crosses your path. Thank God that I was wearing this blue ring which is manufactured specially to immune you from accidents from behind,” Ramesh went on to add.
