New Delhi. 27-year-old Rohit Gupta today received a friend request on Facebook by someone called Amresh Singh, about whom he had no idea about.

However, sources say that Amresh and Rohit could soon be Facebook friends.

While Katherine has a higher chance of her request getting accepted, research for other requests in currently on by Rohit.

“We have seven mutual friends,” Rohit told Faking News why he was considering the request of Amresh pretty “favorably”.

Although sources tell Faking News that Rohit didn’t immediately accept the friend request of Amresh because he was male, Rohit says that he delayed the decision because he wanted to be absolutely certain that Amresh was a “lesser stranger”.

“Seven Facebook friends in common not bad!” he reiterated, though he conceded that there was nothing else in common – neither had they gone to the same school, nor belonged to the same city, nor had any Facebook profile with girl’s display picture as mutual friend.

Further investigations reveal that all the seven mutual friends between Rohit and Amresh were also strangers to Rohit.

“No, I haven’t met them in person or know who they are in reality,” confirmed Rohit, the research assistant in Delhi University, “But if I added them, I must have researched about them at that time.”

“All of those seven have some mutual friends with me,” he pointed out.

Latest reports suggest that Amresh and Rohit have become friends on Facebook. And minutes after that, a friend of Amresh, who has absolutely no idea about Rohit, has, for reasons known best to him, sent a friend request to Rohit.
