Mumbai. After Saina Nehwal hit out at the sports ministry for not awarding her Padma Bhushan even after contributing immensely to Indian badminton, the authorities woke up and recommended her name to the award committee. Following this boxer Vijender Singh also hit out at authorities saying that even he deserves the prestigious Padma Bhushan award.
Taking a cue from both the sporting icons, super supporting star of Bollywood and father of Aaradhya, Mr. Abhishek Bachchan has come forward and demanded Padma Bhushan for his contribution towards sports.
When Faking News got in touch with the Abhishek he furiously said, “How dare Indian government forget my dedication and contribution to sports. I have been busy purchasing different sporting teams such as Kabaddi, Football, Badminton and now I am shelling out money to purchase a Lagori, Carrom, Gilli Danda and Kite-flying teams. Show me one out of job Bollywood actor who is willing to contribute so much to sports by purchasing teams, travelling with them and clapping for them even when they are performing just the way I perform in movies.”
“Sports ministry and authorities should respond to my demand and bestow me with one of the Padma awards, if they don’t pay heed to my demands then I will accept offer to act in movies like Happy New Year-2, Humshakals-2 and 20 more series on Dhoom and only government will be responsible for it,” he warned.
In another development Uday Chopra also came forward and has demanded he be bestowed with Dadasaheb Phalke award for retiring from acting in movies.
