Mumbai. If reports are to be believed, Shiv Sena and BJP have decided to take inspiration from recent patch up of Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan for a ‘re-alliance’ in Maharashtra.
“When they can do it despite being at loggerheads for 6 years, so can we,” said Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, while confirming that his party will continue to support BJP in parliament.
Sources confirm that it’s not without any reason that both parties are looking for inspiration from SRK and Salman. They seemed to have found lots of similarities.
“Like Salman and Shahrukh, we too were very good friends at one point of time. And just the way they both used their PR machinery, during good old days, to convey anything negative about each other, we used Saamna,” a source from Shiv Sena explained.
“In fact even after break up, Shahrukh still had respect for Salman’s family, just like Modi continues to hold Balasaheb Thackeray in high regard,” he further pointed another similarity.
Both parties are however aware that it was Arpita Khan’s wedding that acted as a catalyst to bring two stars together, and are therefore confused as to who should they marry off here.
“Aditya has reached marriageable age, so we could marry him off but he is averse to the idea of both Amit Shah and father Uddhav kissing him. So much so that he has threatened to join MNS, if he is chosen for the task,” revealed Sanjay Raut, who is now asking BJP if they could marry off Rahul Mahajan again.
But whosoever’s marriage happens, it is almost confirmed that senior leaders of both the parties will dance on Ata maajhi satakli much in the same manner Salman and SRK danced together on Chhaiya Chhaiya.
Also Congress leader Baba Siddique, now free from his MLA work like holding Iftar parties, has decided to play cupid and use all his experience to bring 2 parties together.
“It’s my next business venture of bringing warring couples together, and this is my first assignment,” he confirmed.
Sources say just like he did with Salman and SRK, Baba will do the warm up patch before the real re-alliance process begins.
