Lucknow: With the elections right around the corner, BJP has finally decided to announce a CM candidate for UP. With plenty of leaders staking a claim, BJP has decided that their CM Candidate for Uttar Pradesh will be decided through a ‘WWE Royal Rumble’ style fight, where the last person left in the ring will be declared the winner.
BJP didn’t have an automatic pick as the CM candidate like BSP’s Mayawati or SP’s Akhilesh Yadav. Many names have been floated for BJP, like Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani, Varun Gandhi, Keshav Maurya, Yogi Adityanath, Uma Bharti and Manoj Sinha among others.
“We have too many candidates qualified to be the CM candidate”, Amit Shah told Faking News “I had a meeting with all of them to discuss this issue. Everyone was trying to make others look bad and the discussion was taking far too long. So I thought let’s just decide the winner in my style – The Royal Rumble.”
The rules of this fight are very simple. Each participant will start off in a wrestling ring. The objective is to throw your opponents over the top rope until only one man (or woman) is left”, Shah added.
The idea was taken positively by some members, while others disliked it. Varun Gandhi has an advantage in this format as he is the youngest of the lot. He expressed his excitement via a tweet where he wrote, “Thank you Amit Bhai for this innovative idea. I am confident, I will win”
On the other hand, Rajnath Singh who is the oldest one in the bunch has criticized this decision in his typical style. He told the media, “Hum is faisle ki kadi ninda karte hain. Amit Bhai humaari umar ka toh lihaaj kiya hota. Humein nahin banna kahin ka CM.”
As soon as this news broke out, the marketing team of Ten Sports reached the office of Amit Shah to get live telecast rights for BJP’s Royal Rumble.
