A brief history of iPad – from Apple stores to the Indian parliament

30, Aug 2011 By  Pagal Patrakar

In order to make our leaders hi-tech and to reduce paper work, parliament has decided to sanction around 50000 rupees to each MP for buying an iPad or other high end tablets. MPs are expected to read proposed bills, budget speeches, and other parliamentary schedules on these iPads and not insist on getting a physical copy. Not sure about the MPs, but the iPad surely has come a long way.
