Times of India to rename ‘Aman Ki Asha’ as ‘Aman Ki Hina’

New Delhi. Realizing that most Indian men are googling for more and more images of Hina Rabbani Khar, the good looking Pakistani foreign minister with large sunglasses and a Birkin bag, Times of India has decided to rename their Indo-Pak friendship campaign as ‘Aman Ki Hina’. Earlier it was called ‘Aman ki Asha’. The media company hopes to attract a renewed interest and improved traffic to the campaign with this change.

“Google trends show that people hardly search for keywords like ‘Aman’ or ‘Asha’ and we were getting very low traffic. We also had to stick to sufi songs or ghazal concerts and couldn’t organize any fashion show that could have given rise to some wardrobe malfunction and hence much needed attention to our initiative,” a Times Group official said.

Looks speak louder than words? Hina Rabbani Khar is trusted with attracting a lot of eyeballs, which apparently will result in better relations between India and Pakistan.

The leading media company of India realized that Hina Rabbani Khar was single handedly getting more attention than all other previous attempts at Indo-Pak friendship, including the Friendship Cup matches played at Toronto, Canada, which saw Pakistan losing wickets to Debashish Mohanty and Harvinder Singh in a rather friendly manner.

“We also realized that the term ‘Aman Ki Hina’ doesn’t in anyway dilute the message of our campaign. It could be interpreted to mean ‘fragrance or color of peace’ – suits us completely,” the official told Faking News.

“Furthermore many people mistook that ‘Aman’ and ‘Asha’ were names of a boy and girl in love. Since both the names sounded Indian, they thought it was a one-sided attempt by India for friendship with Pakistan. But now with the presumed girl being called ‘Hina’, named after the Pakistani foreign minister, people might finally believe that Pakistan was also involved in the process,” the official added.

Times of India is planning to upload all the images of Hina Rabbani Khar in all possible poses and wardrobe on their website, and is hoping to attract a huge number of curious male visitors from both sides of the border.

“Men take part in wars; we need to reach out to them and influence them first,” the Times Group official explained the ‘motive’.

“We are committed to peace between the countries with the help of responsible journalism,” a statement from Times Group confirmed the development.
