Bengaluru: Sasikala’s surrender in Bengaluru was delayed after she found herself stranded in the city’s ubiquitous traffic. Sources say that it might take upto a year for her to reach her destination, which is the Bengaluru jail.
Speaking to Faking News a close aide said, “Contrary to media reports, Sasikala is on her way to the jail. But since the time we have entered Bengaluru, we haven’t moved an inch thanks to the traffic and it seems it will take another year for us to reach the destination.”
Earlier in the day SC came down heavily on Sasikla to the extent of reminding her that she is not Salman Khan and a jail term is inevitable. But now it seems that SC has taken cognizance of the traffic issue and given her time to surrender.
“Bengaluru traffic is nothing less than jail. Considering the fact that Sasikala will be spending a year navigating the traffic, her jail term would be reduced by a year,” said a senior lawyer.
While Sasikala’s camp celebrated the news by extending their stay at Golden Bay resort, Pannerselvam’s MLAs cried foul.
“This is just another delaying tactic. We are arranging a helicopter for her so that she can avoid the traffic. We request the honorable Supreme Court to expedite the process and get her behind bars asap,” said an MLA from OPS camp.
