Railways has taken this decision after too many managers complained about their reportees citing train late as the frequent excuse. A high level meeting happened on 25th October which was presided over by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal himself.

Piyush Goyal said, “We are consistently working to improve the punctuality of trains and people making fake excuses trains running late give us a bad name, hence, we will be sharing live status of running trains with managers.”

Faking News reporter spoke to one of the 1 crore employees at TCS, Ashutosh Mishra, who has reportedly gone late 16 days in a month due to trains running late. Ashutosh travels Borivali to CST daily to reach his workplace. Ashutosh said, “Look, I travel 3 hours daily only to reach office and if it’s not enough my boss expects me to work too in between these traveling. Also, he wants me to reach on time.”

Another employee Dinesh says “I try to catch 8:09 train from Andheri but seeing the congestion I deliberately miss it. I have missed trains more than I have missed my girlfriend who lives in Delhi”

While managers are happy with the decision, employees are planning nationwide protest against the same. Whether Railways will take its decision back or Employees will become punctual this either time will tell or we will tell. Keep reading Faking News.
