New Delhi. The Central Government, in consultation with the RBI, has decided to introduce new currency notes ending with 99, a finance ministry official told Faking News.
“In India, most of the products are priced at 199, 299, 499 and 999. We are the government by the people and for the people. To make it easy for all, we would like to introduce these currencies, in this unique denominations,” the government official told in his press release.
“We are squarely blamed for all the hardships due to the demonetization. Also, we are cursed with choicest of abuses whenever someone tries to exchange the new pinkish rs.2000. Both demonetization and the denomination have failed us. Now, we are trying to fix at least one of them,” he further added.
“Indians have the nasty habit of expecting for change whenever they deal with currency. That is why Rs.2000 is treated like an undeclared illegal tender, because no one has change for it. We want to end this. Also, all kinds of merchants and the mall owners have already welcomed the decision before the currencies are printed out,” the official concluded to Faking News.
“I am not sure if I am going to like it or not. But, I will spend it in wholesome because if we try to get change for these notes, it will always be Re.1 less,” a guy waiting in an ATM queue told Faking News reporter who wanted to get the feedback from the people which will finally stand out, pun intended.
