New Delhi: Most of the class 12th students who appeared in this years Physical Education exam have found the paper to be quite easy. Many are confident of scoring 100 percent in this paper which they feel will improve their overall percentage in board exam.
CBSE has come up with a new circular to put water on these ambitious cent percent mark seekers.
As per the circular, “Only the girls having 36-24-36 figure can potentially score 100 percent in physical education exam paper. For the boys, the ones with proper ‘V’ shape can score 100 percent.
Below the circular, CBSE has put a footnote saying, the dimensions of V shape is not yet final, they are talking to experts (as per our sources, it is Salman Khan) and within a week they will make a separate announcement on this.”
Dr VK Sharma, head of CBSE gave us more insight how the marks will be given for this paper. He said, “Ten marks we have kept separately for these ‘hourglass’ figure girls and perfectly well built V-shaped boys. If someone has answered everything correctly in exams, the maximum he or she can score is 90 percent. These ten marks students will be given after we check student’s final ‘figure’ on the day they will come to schools to collect their report card. Please note we will not give free hand to schools, our well-trained staff will be present in every school to do the measurement.”
When we asked why you are measuring the figures on report card collection day, it could have been done earlier in schools, Mr. Verma said, “It’s a long exam season, we don’t want our students to lose their figure due to exam stress. We want our students to go out of schools in their best possible shape. If our girls wish, they can apply for this year miss India Pageant, then who knows some might represent India in miss World or miss Universe contest.”
Considering the ‘huge’ business potential, many coaching centers have started offering special 4 weeks’ summer workout package for 12th students. Parents who thought they will get a break after exams, are also joining their wards to keep them motivated for this additional ten marks.
