Baba Siddiqui, who is known to host the most high-profile Iftar party every year has called it off this year. The former MLA from Bandra, in a press brief, confirmed the news, “It is a known fact that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are friends again. They have been clicked hugging and greeting each other many times by the paparazzi in various events this year. My only reason to host the party no longer exists,” said a teary-eyed Siddiqui.

Baba Siddiqui’s decision to call off the Iftar party did not go down well with several media persons who attended the press conference. When our reporter spoke to a journalist from a leading news channel, she expressed her disappointment at the cancellation of the party. “Damn it! Since the Iftar party is cancelled, I will now have to cover less relevant issues like elections, civic issues, healthcare and crime in the city,” she said.

Actor Salman Khan was not in a state of speaking to the media after hearing the developments. A source close to him told us, “Bhai’s favourite dish is chicken biryani. He loves eating biryani at the Iftar party every year. Ever since Baba Siddiqui announced that the party is called off, Bhai has been feeding on denim clothes.” The person also pointed towards the rugged patch in his trouser and said, “Nobody is going close to Salman bhai because he eats everyone’s trousers now. We tell everyone that we are wearing the rugged denim because it looks fashionable, but very few know what the truth is.”

Shah Rukh Khan, who was disappointed with Baba Siddiqui’s decision, said, “I would have got a chance to hug Salman in the party. It will be very difficult to meet Salman now because he will remain busy visiting every reality show in the country to encourage the participants since he genuinely feels that the industry should not be ruled by people who lack talent.”

Before concluding the press conference, SRK wished Salman the very best for his upcoming film Tubelight. He assured, “With Tubelight, Salman will rule the industry.”
