New Delhi. Salman Khurshid’s driver, who was planning to blackmail him like the driver of Abhishek Manu Singhvi blackmailed the former spokesman of Congress, is heartbroken to know that Khurshid’s attempts at forgery were as lowly as 71.5 lakhs rupees.

Kya yaar, I was hoping to earn this much of money by making some MMS!” one of the drivers employed by the Union Law Minister told Faking News on conditions of anonymity, “No, I don’t mean MMS like that of Singhvi’s, but say Salman Sir secretly meeting Anna Hazare, as Anna had earlier claimed.”

The driver is now dejected and is unsure if he’d even recover those few thousands rupees that he had invested in buying hidden cameras and battery.

“71 lakhs! That too for funds meant for the disabled to buy stuff like tricycles!” a visibly stunned driver tried to understand the logic behind Salman Khurshid’s alleged scam, “Man, much more money has been made by peons working in municipal corporations!”

The driver further revealed that he had cancelled his Diwali vacation as he was too embarrassed to go back home and get ridiculed by his village folks.

“I had made tall claims that I, being the driver of a union minister who was ready to die for Sonia Gandhi ji, earn in lakhs myself and would soon buy a flat in one of the housing societies being developed by DLF,” the driver shared his frustrations, “Now what face will I show them? That I work for someone who steals peanuts?”

The driver further claimed that ever since this 71.5 lakh fraud by Mr. Khurshid has come to light, he silently drops the Minister to various meetings and furtively drives away to avoid fellow drivers of other ministers and leaders.

“Only last night the former driver of A Raja tried to catch me near the paan shop, but he failed as he started laughing too hard as soon as he saw me. All of them call me tricycle driver,” he rued.

Why such a short fakenews? How about the watchman? Hasn’t he resigned his job yet? Some of the people commenting on this news express “hahahaha” or “hilarious”. It is not a laughing matter. The driver is right in feeling ashamed. I understand that the driver of Suresh Kalmadi has run away without a trace, after looting Kalmadi while he was in jail. The vacancy is still available, but the new candidate may have to bribe more than Rs.1.00 crore to the cook, for the job. His contact details are available in his Facebook wall under the address “chefaftercash”.
